A return to riding a Zero Motorcycles bike: the latest model: the electric Zero DSR/X adventure motorbike.
At the time of publishing, this is the only adventure motorcycle currently on the market, designed to be equally at home on and off road, and as if to prove it, I was invited to spend the day riding the bike in Belgium at the DSR/Xperience.
This was a day which incorporated a morning incorporating an introduction from Zero’s UK and Benelux Marketing Manager, Cees Lengers, followed by a morning’s off-road riding instruction with Thierry Sarasyn of Adventure Academy. In the afternoon, we put the morning’s learning to practice, riding the bike on a series of surfaces, both off and on road.
In this video, I go through the motorbike’s main specifications, talk about the day’s events, and offer my view on the motorcycle as a long-term electric motorcycle owner and rider.
