I attempt to connect a laptop to the Valence lithium batteries in the Ford Ranger EV.

I was running windows 10 on a MacBook Pro using Virtual Box.
I built an adapter from a generic USB to RS485 adapter to the Amp Seal 5-pin connector used on the Valence battery BMS connectors with this kit.

I was able to get SOME communications going on between the software and the batteries, so it’s a start. I still need to figure out some more, and why I was getting errors.
