Ryobi Light Bulb Adapter: How to Install Nickel Strip Conductors

Hi Friends, this is to show you how to install the conductors for the 3D-printed light bulb adapter for Ryobi 18V batteries. Links and more in the full description.
Please click SHOW MORE!

This is an original design that I invented to directly attach a low-voltage LED light bulb to a Ryobi 18V battery. It’s the cheapest and simplest way to make a bright, all-purpose, battery light. The original idea was for it to be for camping, emergencies, and the like, but I’ve found it to be useful for all sorts of things, including working on my car and night-time outdoor events.

The 3D print file is available for you to make it for your own personal use.

Use 4mm pure nickel strips as your conductors:

Most 12VDC light bulbs will work, but the best quality and value ones that I have found are these:

Pretty much any 3D printer should work fine for this project. I happen to have a Creality Ender 3 S1 and have been very happy with it. Easy to assemble and works well right out of the box.
