Steps:
Prepare the Mounting Bracket:
If your headlight comes with a separate mounting bracket, attach it to the headlight according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Attach the Mounting Bracket to the Bike:
Secure the mounting bracket to the chosen location on your bike. This may involve using screws, bolts, or straps. Make sure the bracket is stable and won’t move during rides.
Secure the Headlight to the Bracket:
If your headlight has a quick-release mechanism, attach it to the mounting bracket. If it has screws, tighten them using a screwdriver or Allen wrench.
Adjust the Angle:
Adjust the angle of the headlight to ensure it is pointing in the desired direction. Some headlights allow you to pivot or swivel the light for optimal illumination.
Test the Headlight:
Turn on the headlight to check if it’s working properly. Adjust the beam if necessary.
Secure any Excess Wiring:
If your headlight has excess wiring, secure it to the bike frame using zip ties or similar fasteners to prevent it from getting tangled or caught in the wheels.
Double-Check Everything:
Before you ride, double-check that the headlight is securely mounted, the angle is correct, and the wiring is well-secured.
