Steps :
Secure your bike:
Place your electric bike on a stable surface. If you have a bike stand, this may make the operation easier.
Loosen the stem bolts:
Locate the stem bolts that attach it to the fork. These are usually hexagonal bolts located on the side or top of the stem.
Use the appropriate size Allen key to loosen these bolts. You may need to turn them anticlockwise.
Loosen the handlebar clamp:
If your handlebars are held in place by a separate clamp on the stem, loosen these bolts too. This will allow you to adjust the angle of the handlebars.
Adjust the handlebars:
Once you’ve loosened the bolts on the stem and the handlebar clamp, you can adjust the position of the handlebars. You can raise or lower the handlebars and rotate them forwards or backwards to achieve the desired riding position.
Align the handlebars:
Make sure the handlebars are straight and aligned with the front wheel. This is important for steering and control.
Tighten the bolts:
Once you’ve found the desired position, tighten the stem bolts and handlebar clamp bolts firmly. Make sure the bolts are tightened evenly to avoid uneven stress on the components.
Check stability:
Shake the handlebars and front wheel to make sure everything is tight. There should be no play or wobble.
Test ride:
Take a short test ride to see how you feel with the new handlebar position. Make further adjustments if necessary.
