Here at Retrospecive Scooters we like to try and revive all sorts of vintage scooters , painting and restoration of the bodywork is possible if the scooter is complete and not missing too much trim then we can get it looking like new again , where the problem lies with these old obsure models is finding all the parts for the engine to get it running again and make it a usable classic .
This is the beauty of our electic conversions , we can not only get these old scooters back on the road but actually make them a daily user with our electic conversion set up .
This Durkopp Diana 175 engine was damaged and missing many parts which were unobtainable, so the E conversion was what has it now back on the road after 45 years and being used as a daily ride.
To date besides our standard Vespa and Lambretta conversion kits we have made conversion kits for ,the following list of scooters . Ducati 100, NSU Prima V,Capri 100, Guizzo, Zundapp ,Gilera, Truimph Tina, Ciao,Puch and a 1947 Salisbury Model 85 and we will keep on building these conversions for any obsure classics IF they lend well to it and we have the model in house to take the measurements and design the kit structure.
