November motorcycle trip from home in Warwickshire around the coast of Devon and Cornwall via South Wales and Bristol.
The whole ride involved riding from my home in Warwickshire to my friend, Chris’ house, in South Wales, then a small excursion through South Wales to Monmouth and into the Wye Valley around Tintern Abbey, down to Bristol and on to Torquay in Devon. The start of the video up until around 3:15 includes footage from this day’s riding.
The following day, we followed the south coast road from Devon into Cornwall via Plymouth, following the road to Land’s End in Cornwall, where we stayed overnight. The video features predominantly footage from this day’s ride.
The next day included a ride up the west coast from Cornwall back into Devon, hugging the roads up from Newquay up to the North Devon coastal road around Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth, and on to Minehead, before we re-joined the M5 motorway and headed back to Chris’ house. There’s no footage from this day’s riding here, as the weather was poor and so I didn’t take any riding footage.
We rode 597 miles (960 km) from and back to Chris’ house.
I rode 830 all-electric miles (1335 km) in total from Wednesday evening to Sunday late morning.
Most of the footage here is at double speed, but ferry trips are sped up further and a couple of parts (the first part of the tractor encounter and the final ferry disembarkation) are at normal speed.
