Aerodynamic optimization is an important area of development in every Lightning product and is key to Lightning’s mission to manufacture the longest range, most efficient and highest performance electric motorcycles.
Lightning conducts CFD simulation to test and improve the motorcycle design until we achieve an optimal shape. Lightning then builds full size prototypes for wind tunnel and real-world testing.
Lightning Motorcycles was born out of the vision to create electric motorcycles that outperform and provide a better rider experience than the best internal combustion engine motorcycles. Lightning has 3 different motorcycle models currently in production and three more models in development.
All Lightning products are designed, built and assembled in California.
