In an era where around 98% of bikes sold in the U.S. are imported, we are proud to continue handcrafting every single Bike Friday in our Eugene, Oregon, factory, just like we first did in 1992.
As we enter our 32nd year of handcrafting folding bikes, we are optimistic about the future. As the cycling industry faces new tariffs, we were relieved when Representative Earl Blumenauer, an Oregonian and avid cyclist, introduced the Domestic Bicycle Production Act to “reinvigorate bike manufacturing in the United States.” We are hopeful this proposed bill will support existing bike builders and encourage others to continue the domestic bike building tradition.
