Tools you need to prepare
Tyre tool (tyre iron): for removing the outer tyre.
Inner tyre tool (inner tyre removal tool): for removing and mounting the inner tyre.
Spanner: for removing tyre nuts.
Tie or repair adhesive: for repairing small inner tube punctures.
Hand pump or air cylinder: for inflating inner tubes
Remove the outer tyre:
Using a tyre tool, gently gouge the edge of the outer tyre away from the hub, ensuring not damage the hub or inner tube.
Removing the inner tyre:
Remove the inner tube from the hub once the outer tyre has been gouged away.
Fit the new inner tube:
Ensure that the new inner tube matches the size of the tyre.
Mounting the outer tyre:
Use the tyre tool to remount the outer tyre edge onto the wheel hub. Ensure the outer tyre is evenly distributed along the hub to prevent irregular rotation.
Inflate:
Inflate the inner tube to the recommended pressure level using a hand pump or air cylinder. Usually, the recommended air pressure range is marked on the tyre.
Test:
Push the e-bike slowly for a few steps to ensure that the tyres are not rattling or rotating irregularly.
