Front brake clamp installation steps:
PREPARE TOOLS: Including screwdriver, spanner, and adjusting screws.
Locate the Brake Clamp: Find out where the front brake clamp should be installed. It will be fixed on the brake bracket of the front wheel.
Install Brake Clamp: Place the brake clamp on the brake bracket and secure it by placing screws through the holes in the brake clamp and bracket. Make sure the brake clamp is tightened securely to ensure braking performance.
CONNECTING THE BRAKE LINE: Connect the brake line from the brake clamp to the brake lever. This usually involves tightening some adjustment screws to ensure a tight connection.
Brake Adjustment Procedure:
ADJUST BRAKE LINE TENSION: Make sure the tension on the brake line is just right, not too loose and tight. You can do this by adjusting the adjusting screw on the brake clamp.
Check brake pad position: Ensure the brake pads are tangent to the wheel, not too close to the rim or far away. Adjust the position of the brake clamp so that the brake pads are correctly aligned with the wheel.
Test the brakes: Test the brakes to ensure they work properly before you go for a real ride. If the brakes are not sensitive enough or the brake lines are too loose, adjust them accordingly.
