The Mandello V100 range has expanded with the introduction of a new and unique version, the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel. This special edition pays tribute to Moto Guzzi’s 70th anniversary of the groundbreaking wind tunnel that revolutionized aerodynamics in the world of motorcycling.
Built in 1954 by Carlo and Giuseppe Guzzi, the wind tunnel was a pioneering engineering feat that set Moto Guzzi apart as an innovator in the field. It allowed for precise testing and development of fairing shapes, a scientific approach that was unheard of at the time. This technological marvel continues to be a symbol of Moto Guzzi’s heritage and inspires the design of every model they produce.
The Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello is a prime example of this commitment to innovation. It is the world’s first motorcycle with adaptive aerodynamics, a system that adjusts deflectors on the tank based on speed and riding mode. This technology, developed through extensive CFD calculations and wind tunnel testing, provides optimal protection and comfort for the rider without compromising on design.
The Wind Tunnel special edition features the classic Moto Guzzi colors of red and black, with gold detailing that adds a touch of elegance. It comes equipped with top-of-the-line features such as Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension, Cornering ABS, Quick Shift gearbox, and the Moto Guzzi MIA multimedia platform. Additionally, it includes TPMS tyre pressure sensors and heated handgrips for added convenience.
