On our electric conversions the rear electric hub motor runs on a 10" wheel rim .In order to even out the height front and back we get around it by installing a 300×10 tyre on the hub motor.and a 400×8 tyre on the front original 8" wheel rim. These two tyres share the same diameter and so put the scooter on even ground , its efectively a 9" inch wheel set up.
With this the stand needs increasing slightly to the new height and we recommend that the front suspesion is toughtend up , so a 165/170mm 10" Sprint/rally size sprint and an after market tougher damper like Carbone/SIP/BGM or remade GS 150 damper.
Having done this upgrade to go with out electric conversion kit we also found out that it’s fits perfect well in the two stroke engine set up and give’s it that taller stance and little mprovment on top end speed. You will need to PX 200 gearing on the primary drive and cltch drive 65/23.
