Justin Williams loves to be competitive on the bike but the thing he’s most proud of? Being able to turn that off outside of racing and be kind to others.
Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Justin Williams (he/him/his) is a professional cyclist and co-founder of the L39ION of Los Angeles UCI Continental cycling team based in the United States. As both a professional athlete and entrepreneur, Justin is dedicated to increasing diversity and representation in the sport of cycling and growing the criterium racing scene.
In this episode, Justin and DZ chat about what it was like growing up in LA and playing every sport possible, how criterium racing helped Justin with road racing in Europe, his competitiveness, and why he wanted to start his own team.
