Edgar Carballo is simply lovable! The charismatic Spanish rider is the cheerful character in the E-Enduro World Cup. At first glance, his large, powerful presence may seem intimidating. However, upon first meeting him, he impresses with his open, friendly, and helpful nature. "He’s in great spirits and always enthusiastic," says his teammate Vid Persak from the Orbea Fox Enduro Team about Edgar. Edgar loves cycling and is always ready to give his all on the racetrack. This is evident in his unique riding style, combining fun with speed, riding impulsively, and dominating the trail in every sense of the word. Edgar grew up in Tenerife and still spends most of the off-season there with his family and friends. For the second episode of "Moments that Matter," we followed him last season to Val di Fassa in Italy and Loudenvielle in France for two EDR-E races. In the video, Edgar tells us how he feels at the start of a race stage, discusses the biggest success of his career, and shares what he loves about eMTB racing.
