Did you know the world’s first pedal bike was invented in Scotland?
To honour its inventor, Kirkpatrick Macmillan, Endura recreated the bike and took it on a historic ride from Thornhill to Glasgow, the same route Kirkpatrick took back in 1842.
This video details the bike’s journey, from it’s construction to the finish line at Glasgow’s Riverside Museum, and highlights Scotland’s role in cycling history.
